TUPE, who was from the Yaman/Rana 11/8/2014 litter at CEDAR RISE ANATOLIANS, is now a LUCKY HIT ANATOLIAN.

I believe that Anatolian males should be tested for their ability to be good with puppies.
Those Anatolian males that excel as a "dad" also tend to excel as a kid guardian, both goat and human kids.
I raise my males with their pups and sometimes with an outside male's pups.
Also for breeding consideration, I include several young related females and examine their interactions with pups.
I believe that an Anatolian male that cannot be trusted with pups should NEVER be bred,
no matter how wonderful his other qualities are!!!
Of course, my primary breeding consideration is ALWAYS working ability!!!

In this larger view picture taken 1/18/2015 you can see Kibar with his dam's brother's son, Cedar Rise Tupelo Honey (TUPE),
and also his son, Lucky Hit Leydi Bakim, and his daughter, Lucky Hit Leydi Stella (with the very dark mask)
They are presently six months old puppies with whom he currently lives full time.
Another son, Lucky Hit Leydi Case, with whom Kibar lives 24/7 isn't shown in this picture.
Of course, in another two or three months the male pups will have a testerone surge so I expect to move them to their own individual pastures.
They aren't puppies forever, after all!!!
