Pregnant, SEVAN is eating amicably between her sire, LUCKY HIT Sonra GENIS of CEDAR RISE (GENIS) and
another relative, a five month old puppy, Elkhorn Ginger CABUK of LUCKY HIT.
It is important to train Anatolians from early puppyhood on to eat amicably with other dogs.
I am present with all my dogs each day while they eat in order to make certain they maintain "good manners."
If your dog is behaving in ways you don't like, the improper behavior might be a result of your training techniques!

SEVAN, pictured eating raw chicken, is being fed dog food, cottage cheese, and chicken!
Right now she is eating about five pounds of chicken a day and loving it! (Purchased from the store!)
It is important that pregnant females be fed high quality foods.
I do my best to ensure that happens!

SEVAN greeted a female llama who decided she was too pushy and blew a mouthful
of semi-chewed hay to encourage Sevan to move away. (Note hay bits on Sevan's
face!) Sevan immediately moved away.
It is this type of early animal interaction that helps elevate an Anatolian's
ability to work seamlessly with their animals.
The only way a breeder can truly evaluate an Anatolian's true level of working
ability is observation of the dog with animals during the lifetime of the dog.
SEVAN lives 24/7 with Nubian goats, Nubian Kids, ducks (in an enclosure except
when under supervision and direction), two adult llamas and a 12 month old llama.
In her pasture she also receives excellent dog interactions. Sevan is being
raised with
her Mom, LUCKY HIT Kamil BETON (BETON) (PWA),
her Dad LUCKY HIT Sonra GENIS (GENIS) (PWA),
and two cousins, LUCKY HIT Behiye NADIR (NADIR) (PWA) and
LUCKY HIT Behiye TAVIR (TAVIR) (PWA).

SEVAN has always demonstrated superior working behavior.
For example, SEVAN was unsupervised and trustworthy with kidding goats at only twelve months!
She then lived with the newborns and her loving behavior with the kids was exemplary!

Sevan has been outside with goats continuously from 2 1/2 weeks. She has a
loving personality but also the strong willed and dominant nature necessary in
all excellent working Anatolians.
